Overall, my stay at Hyatt Place New Orleans Convention Center was pretty solid. The rooms were clean and spacious, which was a huge plus, especially since I was traveling with my family. The breakfast options exceeded my expectations and helped save on meal costs. However, I did have a few issues with the breakfast setup being a bit chaotic, and the dog noise from nearby rooms was annoying at times.

Rooms

The room was clean and spacious enough for my family. I appreciated the updated features, and it was comfortable for our stay.
Service
7.0
Staff were friendly and helped with any questions I had, but I did notice a couple of small service hiccups, like needing more towels for our room.
Location

The hotel's location is pretty great, just a short walk to the French Quarter and right across from the Convention Center. I felt safe walking through the area, but late nights could be a bit uneasy.
Dining
7.0
Breakfast had an impressive variety with good quality, though the setup was confusing and could be chaotic, especially during busy times.
Facilities
7.0
The gym was small and could use more equipment, and I wish there were more options for laundry, but overall, the facilities met my needs.

I had a mixed experience at Hyatt Place New Orleans Convention Center. While the location is great for exploring nearby attractions, the service and some amenities left much to be desired. I enjoyed the cleanliness of my room and the friendliness of the staff, but breakfast options were limited and a bit disappointing.

Rooms
7.0
My room was pretty spacious and clean, which I appreciated. However, it was located on the second floor right beneath the breakfast area, so I woke up to some annoying screeching chairs early in the morning.
Service
6.0
The staff tried to be pleasant and helpful, which was a highlight. But there were moments where it felt like they were overwhelmed, especially during breakfast service.
Location
9.0
The hotel is super close to the Convention Center and within walking distance to the French Quarter, which was perfect for me. I loved that I could easily explore the area.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was just average, with very limited options and not enough variety. It would’ve been nice to have something fresh cooked rather than the same frozen bread every day.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities had some drawbacks, like the valet service being slow and issues with the elevators. It felt a bit chaotic at times, which took away from the overall experience.

7.4/10

My stay at Hyatt Place New Orleans Convention Center was quite disappointing. While the location was perfect for accessing the Convention Center and a short walk to attractions, the ongoing construction made it hard to navigate. Although the breakfast was decent, several issues, including an unresponsive valet service and a hot room, took away from the overall experience.

Rooms
6.0
The room was spacious, but it felt uncomfortably warm even after adjusting the AC. There were also some maintenance issues, like a constantly running toilet and broken lights.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, but the valet service was particularly lacking. I had to call multiple times to get assistance, and it took a long time to resolve the valet ticket issue with my car.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location is fantastic, right across from the convention center and close to the Riverwalk and French Quarter, making it easy to explore the area.
Dining
7.0
The continental breakfast was quite good and had a nice variety, which was a plus for our stay.
Facilities
5.0
The ongoing construction affected the facilities, particularly in the lobby, which was covered in plastic and had a strange smell. Valet parking was also poorly managed.

6.2/10

My stay at the Hyatt Place New Orleans Convention Center was a mixed bag. While the location was super convenient for access to the convention center, the hotel itself was in rough shape, with one elevator out of service and some cleanliness issues. The friendly staff made the experience better, but the breakfast left a lot to be desired due to limited options and it being out of key items on multiple days.

Rooms
6.0
The Queen room was spacious, but cleanliness could be improved as I found some hair in the coffee cup. The toilet was also running during my stay, which was annoying.
Service
7.0
Staff were generally friendly and helpful, especially when it came to handling my requests, but there were moments where they could have been more attentive.
Location
8.0
This hotel is perfectly located right across from the convention center, which made it super easy for me to get to my events. It's also a bit of a trek to the French Quarter, but still doable.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast was disappointing, often out of food by 8:30 AM, and not as good as I expected. More variety and better maintenance of the breakfast area would really help.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities are limited, with one elevator down during my stay and an overall need for upgrades. The valet service worked well, so that was a plus.

6.6/10

I had a mixed experience at Hyatt Place New Orleans Convention Center. While the hotel's cleanliness and spacious rooms were definite highlights, my stay was marred by issues like a lingering cigarette smell in my first room and an unsatisfactory breakfast with staff lacking urgency. The location was great for my business needs, but the service could definitely use improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The room I first checked into had a noticeable cigarette odor, prompting me to request a new room. Thankfully, the second room was much better, and it was spacious and clean overall.
Service
5.0
The front desk staff was friendly and quick during check-in, but there were some follow-up issues that went unaddressed. I had to bring up room issues multiple times without a satisfactory resolution.
Location
8.0
The hotel is conveniently situated right across from the Convention Center, making it easy for me to access my business events. It's also within a short walk to other attractions like the French Quarter.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was a letdown, with items often running low and the food not being served hot. I ended up having to purchase breakfast from a nearby hotel, which added to my expenses.
Facilities
6.0
The overall facility was clean, and I appreciated the presence of amenities like an on-site Starbucks, but some basic services like housekeeping were lacking.
